As you may know, chakras are energy vortexes and the energy in these has a frequency. You can have a chakra that is spinning quite fast or quite slow. It can be flowing gracefully or it can be blocked. Think of each chakra as a wheel or like a flower petal. They can be open or they can be somewhat closed. Good news is that there are certain things you can do in order to open a chakra so that it can spin faster or you can slow a chakra down so that so much energy is not draining out of it.
There are certain things that will help align your chakras and bring them more into balance. If you notice that a certain chakra is not flowing as you wish or is blocked, here are some tips and tools for addressing that chakra.
To use creative visualization to address your chakra, get yourself into a meditative state. Sit quietly and focus on your breath. Then, take your attention to the chakra that you want to work on, such as they heart. See the color of the heart chakra, which is green, and see the energy in that area spinning clockwise in a relatively fast pace. See it quite vibrant and radiating a glow toward every direction. If you’re working all of your chakras, see a vortex of translucent light spinning up from your root chakra all the way up through your crown chakra, helping bring abundant flow to each chakra as it rises.
Many people work a particular chakra with a music bowl. When you ding the bowl, a certain note resonates and the sound vibration can help open a blocked chakra or slow down an extra fast chakra.
You can find crystals at New Age stores, festivals, or you can go crystal digging in places like Arkansas. Crystals are wonderful tools for working with the chakras, as they can clear dense energy, bring a positive charge to the chakras, and get them spinning as they should be spinning. Simply place the crystal on the particular chakra or hold it above it for about 2 to 3 minutes, asking it to bring healing and flow to the area.
A good massage will help your chakras to align and help you feel less stress. Along with massage, reiki is a wonderful tool to bring healing energy to the mind and body. Many massage therapists are also reiki masters, so it’s always a good idea to ask around before seeing a masseuse to see who can perform reiki.
